Elsa (Pushnig) Barnes, 89, of Dalzell, Illinois, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019, at her home. Her body will be donated to the SIU School of Medicine in hopes of making a difference for others.

A memorial service was held Monday, December 30, at the First Baptist Church LaSalle, Illinois with her grandson, Joshua Riffe officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mueller Funeral Home, Peru, Illinois. The online guestbook may be viewed and remembrances shared at www.MuellerFH.com.
