JULIA R. HICKMAN

Julia Ruth Huxford Hickman, 81, died early Sunday morning, June 7, 2026, at Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton after a 16-year battle of Alzheimer’s Disease.

She was born January 6, 1945, in Terre Haute and was the daughter of Herman Huxford Jr. and Ruth Huxford of Rosedale. She graduated from Rosedale High School in 1963. She attended Indiana State University for two years before she married Donald Paul Hickman June 12, 1968. They lived 59 years outside of Rosedale.

A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer.

Please note that the bridge going down the north hill into Rosedale will be closed. Guests are encouraged to use County Line Road or the West Hill entrance when traveling to Rosedale.
