PUBLIC NOTICE
As per I.C. 20-26-5-4.3, prior to the North Central Parke School Board of Trustees offering a superintendent contract, they must hold a public hearing concerning the contract. The public hearing will be held January 21, 2026 during the regularly scheduled meeting at Parke Heritage Middle School.
Details of the contract are as follows:
Initial Contract Term: July 1, 2025 until June 30, 2028
Extended Contract End Date: June 30, 2029
Annual Salary Beginning July 1, 2025: $132,741
Teachers’ Retirement Fund Contribution: 10.5% of base salary
Insurance: 100% of the cost of the family health plans selected by the superintendent from the insurance trust except for one dollar, plus an amount matching that of the certified employee HSA contribution into a health savings account. 100% of the cost of a family vision and dental plan as selected by the superintendent. If superintendent does not enroll in the family health insurance plan, he will receive additional compensation equivalent to the full cost of the health, vision, and dental plans selected, as well as additional compensation to match certified employee HSA contributions.
Sick Leave: 12 days per year; Personal Leave: 4 days per year; Vacation: 20 days per year
Life Insurance: $50,000
Long Term Disability Insurance: Same as provided in Certified Teacher Master Contract.
Annuity: Corporation will match up to 1% of base salary in 401(a) annuity.
Professional Dues: Corporation will pay membership dues to Indiana Public Schools Superintendent Association, Indiana Rural Schools Association, and American Association of School Administrators.
Expenses: Corporation will pay mileage and expenses for corporation business at Board approved rate.
Conference Attendance: Maximum of $3,500 for expenses to attend the AASA or other national/international professional conferences annually.
All other benefits as outlined in the Certified Teacher Master Contract.
