Legal Notice – Parke County, Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals

The Parke County Planning Commission and Board of Zoning appeals will hold public hearings on February 27, 2025, at 5:00 pm and 5:30 p.m., respectively. The meetings will be held at the 4-H Extension Office at 1472 North US 41, Rockville IN.

The property in question is located on the north side of US 36 about 1 mile east of County Road N 1050 E.

The request would change the zoning of 1.96 acres from Agricultural to Commercial and would grant a use variance for development as a Dollar General retail store. The request also would reduce the parking requirement for the proposed development from 53 spaces to 40 spaces.
