NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENT TO APPLY

Parke County, Indiana

Notice is hereby given that Parke County will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, July 1 at 5:30 p.m. at 110 E High St, Rockville IN.

The Public Hearing is being held to discuss the community’s submission of an application for an Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation (OOR) Grant Program. This grant is funded through the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.

The proposed OOR Program aims to assist low-to-moderate-income homeowners with critical home repairs. Eligible improvements typically include, but are not limited to: roof repair/replacement, HVAC and water heater replacement, and ADA accessibility modifications.

At the hearing, Parke County will present the project scope, implementation timeline, proposed budget (which includes a minimum 10% local match requirement), and address how the program will benefit low-to-moderate-income individuals.

All interested citizens are encouraged to attend and provide input. Written comments may also be submitted to Cyndi Todd. Partnership Parke County at 110 E High St, Rockville IN 47872 prior to the hearing. The location is accessible to individuals with disabilities.
