Notice of Sale of Real Estate

The Clinton Redevelopment Commission (the “Commission”) is accepting offers for the purchase of the following described real estate located in the City of Clinton, Vermillion County, State of Indiana, to-wit:

002-010-0073-00 KNOWLES HTS ADD LOT 84

358 N 6th St, Clinton, IN 47842

 

The opening bid shall be set at $300.00.  No bid below $300.00 will be accepted.

 

Said property shall be transferred to the purchaser by quitclaim deed and is being sold as is, without any warranty of any kind, whatsoever, express or implied, or any warranty of suitability for any particular purpose.  The property may not be sold to a person who is ineligible as a purchaser under Indiana Code 36-1-11-16.

 

Offers for said property will be received by the Commission until 4:00 PM on September 11, 2024. Late bids will not be accepted. The Commission will open bids on September 11, 2024 at 6:00 PM.  Persons interested in submitting an offer for this property may submit a sealed written bid in-person to the Office of the Mayor, 259 Vine Street, Clinton, IN 47842, or, persons mailing bids may send their sealed bids to the same location. A bid submitted by a trust must identify each beneficiary of the trust and each settlor empowered to revoke or modify the trust pursuant to Indiana Code 30-4-1-1(a). All bids shall be open to public inspection. The property shall be sold pursuant to the procedures of Indiana Code 36-7-14-22.  A final determination may not be made on September 11, 2024. Bids shall remain open for 60 days.

 

This Notice is being provided pursuant to Indiana Code 5-3-1, et seq. and 36-7-14.
