Parke Heritage Graduation, Prom Plans Changed (Again) When State Stays In Stage 4.5

Following last week’s graduation plans for Parke Heritage being announced, those plans were changed when Governor Holcomb declared plans to remain in Stage 4.5 for an additional two weeks. The North Central Parke School Board made adjustments to the plans for graduation and prom at their recent meeting.

High School principal Dwight Ashley made the following announcement following the meeting:

After the Governor’s update this week to remain in Stage 4.5, we have also consulted with our Parke County Health Officer, and NCP School Board and the following are the adjusted plans that have been approved to celebrate you, the legendary PHHS Class of 2020.

The significant change in the plans are that the graduation and prom events need to take place outside, as such the graduation will take place at the same time at the PHHS Football Field, and the prom event will take place at the Parke County Fairgrounds in an open air structure.
