Rosedale was the only town in Parke County that held an election Tuesday, November 5 as there was a contested race for Clerk-Treasurer.
Incumbent Natalie Montgomery retained her seat by a 66-32 margin over challenger Amanda Pharris. Montgomery, a former town council member, was appointed to the position when former Clerk-Treasurer Adrienne Robinson resigned. Pharris is a former Deputy Clerk-Treasurer for the town.
Ward One councilman John McGlynn and Ward Three council woman Carol Brown were unopposed in their re-election bids.
