North Central Parke’s Board of School Trustees met in regular session November 15 with the following members present: Scott Ramsay, Rusty Akers, Kim Cooper, Jim Wrightsman, Gina Sunderman and Brandi Vandivier. Mike Neeley was absent.
Monthly reports were shared with board members by Corporation Superintendent Dr. Thomas Rohr, advising that expenditures are in line with expectations, although greater than year-to-date revenue, resulting in a reduction in the cash balance.
Prior to voting on the minutes of the October meeting, Board Member Kim Cooper asked for an update on the concerns expressed about the Special Education Cooperative. Dr. Rohr explained that the major change is that the co-op director has established a satellite office at Rockville Elementary to improve communication with the special education staff.
