NOTICE TO VENDORS
Request for Proposals for Purchase of Property
The Southwest Parke Community School Corporation (“School Corporation”) Board of School Trustees solicits competitive proposals regarding the sale of Parcel No. 61-05-36-301-007.000-013 (“Corner Parcel”) and Parcel No. 61-05-36-301-006.000-013 in Parke County, Indiana (“Standard Parcel” and collectively with Corner Parcel, the “Property”). Corner Parcel is commonly referred to as 634 E Strawberry Road, Montezuma, Parke County, Indiana, 47862, while Standard Parcel does not have a physical address.
Notice is hereby given that the School Corporation will receive sealed proposals up to July 15, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. local time at the Southwest Parke Community School Corporation Administration Offices, 4851 South Coxville Road, Montezuma, IN 47862, for the sale of the Property. Mailed proposals must be received no later than 1:00 p.m. local time on July 15, 2026. Use of a service such as FedEx or UPS that assures timely delivery and confirms such delivery is highly encouraged.
Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope or box marked plainly “RFP – Property Purchase– DO NOT OPEN,” on the outside of the envelope.
Proposals shall conform fully to specifications that are on file in the Southwest Parke Community School Corporation Administration Offices, 4851 South Coxville Road, Montezuma, IN 47862, or available to download from www.swparke.k12.in.us/.
Packets should include one (1) copy of the proposal. An electronic copy on a flash drive or optical media such as a CD or DVD is also preferable but optional. Electronic documents should be in a commonly readable format (e.g., Microsoft Office or Adobe PDF). Proposals shall be submitted with an Indiana State Board of Accounts style non-collusion affidavit, which must be signed and executed. No exceptions will be allowed.
The sealed proposals will be opened at a meeting set for July 22, 2026 at 10 a.m. local time at the Southwest Parke Community School Corporation Administration Offices, 4851 South Coxville Road, Montezuma, IN 47862. The School Corporation anticipates the notification of most appropriate response and awarding the sale on July 29, 2026 at 10 a.m.. A successful respondent will be determined based on the criteria stated in the Board-approved specifications. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
