MAURICE S. FORDICE
Maurice Smiley Fordice, 94, of Russellville passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Hendricks Regional Hospital.
Born January 1, 1932, in Russellville, he was the son of the late Rudolph G. and Mary Ann (Smiley) Fordice. Maurice married Darlene Ruth Jackson June 24, 1951. They shared 64 years of marriage prior to her passing.
Funeral services will be at 11a.m., Thursday, May 28, at Russellville Community Church 103 3rd Street, Russellville, with Pastor Kelly Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Russellville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, also at the church. There will be an hour visitation prior to the service Thursday starting at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
