MELVIN A. ANDREW

Melvin Ancil Andrew, 86, of Terre Haute, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Westminster Village.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, January 14 at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home, Terre Haute. A funeral ceremony will begin following the visitation Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor Linda Smock officiating. Melvin will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park with military honors provided by VFW Post 972. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.mattoxwood.com.

    Melvin and I spared throughout grades one thru 12 at Bridgeton School. He was the winner of course. I have never seen Melvin since school days but will not forget his dogged commitment to studying and learning. He was business like and I showed off. God rest.
