PH National Jr. Honor Society

 

 

PH NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY. Parke Heritage Middle School National Jr. Honor Society (NJHS) held its induction of new members on Thursday, February 10 in the middle school gym. Nineteen seventh and eighth grade students were inducted as new members. They were selected based upon scholarship, service, leadership, character and citizenship. These are the five pillars that are the basis for all National Jr. Honor Society selections. Newly-inducted members include seventh grade- Hailey Bonomo, Mia Bowles, Klayton Burgess, Jackie Ferguson, Maddison Fisher, Hayden Holcomb, Haley Holtsclaw, Jackson Jenkins, Ella Lacy, Samantha Mikus, Ella Norman, Addison Ramsay, Mackenzie Reath, Legend Smith and Anesa Veseli. Eighth grade students include Aerianna DeSmith, Kara Jeffers, Alexandra Patton and Marshal Vincent. Members of the 2021-22 National Jr. Honor Society are Keyera Brown, Henry Busenbark, Justin Cooper, Aubree Kieft, Hallie Miller, Emma Patton, Lucas Rhoads, Treigh Schelsky, Kailey Seay, Taya Sturmer, Hayden Vandivier, Nate Woodard. Mrs. Haley Roach is the chapter adviser. Speakers for the induction ceremony were Emma Patton, Henry Busenbark, Aubree Kieft, Hallie Miller, Nate Woodard and Lucas Rhoads.  The middle school band members performed “Jurassic Park” for the prelude and processional. The band director is Mr. Nathan Rosich.
