NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

Customers of Rosedale Water and Sewer utilities are notified that Ordinance 2026-1 amending sewer tap fees, water tap fees, and the water deposit fee was introduced and passed at a meeting of the Town Council held on July 14, 2026.  At a meeting of the Town Council to be held at 7:00 p.m. on August 11, 2026, at the Rosedale Town Hall located at 52 Middle Street, Rosedale, IN 47874 there will be a public hearing on and final consideration of Ordinance 2026-1.  At the hearing and prior to final adoption of the Ordinance all interested parties may appear and be heard. The proposed Ordinance provides as follows:

 

  1. The fee for new connections (taps) into the water system shall be the then current costs of the time and materials for establishing the connection.

 

  1. The fee for new connections (taps) into the water system shall be the then current costs of the time and materials for establishing the connection.

 

  1. The meter deposit fee for customers establishing (or reestablishing) utility service shall be $150.00.
