PARKE HERITAGE HOMECOMING PARADE will take place Friday, October 8 at 5 p.m. beginning at Beechwood Park.  Line up for the parade will be begin at 4:15 p.m. The parade route is Beechwood Park to College Street, North to High Street, East to Jefferson, North to York Street, West to Market Street and North to Howard Street, West to Beadle Street and then North to Stark.

Parkeville Community Christian Church, 7934 E 350 N, Rockville, IN (North of Bellmore) will host their second Saturday music jam on Saturday, Oct. 9, at 6 p.m. All instrument players, singers, and listeners are welcome. Finger foods to share are welcome, though not required. We sing mostly gospel music, with some old-time clean country and bluegrass thrown in. All kinds of music are welcome, as long as it is clean. The Young at Heart Ministry of the Hillsboro Nazarene Church announces these upcoming Saturday events.  Unless otherwise noted, each event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and reservations may be made by calling the church at (765) 798-2350.  Activities are open to all older adults in Fountain and neighboring counties. The Young at Heart

The Young at Heart Ministry of the Hillsboro Nazarene Church announces the upcoming Saturday event. Unless otherwise noted, each event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations may be made by calling the church at (765) 798-2350. Saturday, October 30, is Legal Update and Fall Fun. Indiana Legal Services shares updated information about issues impacting older adults. Following a pizza lunch, participants can decorate a gourd birdhouse with help from Perry Riley. There will be a cost.  The location for this event D’Arlier Cultural Center (lower level), 405 North Mill Street, Veedersburg. Note: Participants enter the lower level next to the library. Boo on the Bridge

October 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. Mecca Historical Society is having Boo at the Bridge.  Wear your costume and play old-fashioned games. Food available for donation. All ages welcome.

A trunk-or-treat at the Bloomingdale Park from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The Town of Bloomingdale, Bloomingdale Forever Fund and Youth Association will provide Trunk or Treat from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, October 30 on Main Street. Hot dogs and hot chocolate will be served at the Community Center for all trick or treaters’. Bloomingdale residents, organizations and businesses are invited to provide treats from their car trunks if preferred to greeting trick or treaters’ at their house.

The Town of Rosedale will have trick-or-treat set for both Saturday, October 30 and Sunday, October 31 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Montezuma will have their Pranks in the Park October 30 with a Trunk-or-Treat at Reeder Park from 7 to 8 p.m. The Haunted Hayrides will begin, and meals will be served from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Haunted Hoosier History will be from 8 to 10 p.m.

The Town of Rosedale will have trick-or-treat set for both Saturday, October 30 and Sunday, October 31 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The Town of Mecca has set hours for door-to-door trick or treat, for Sunday, October 31, 4 to 8 p.m.

Trick-or-treat on the Square in Rockville will be Halloween, Sunday, October 31 at 5 to 7 p.m. Merchants will come out and treat all the ghosties and goblins as they parade around the square.  There will be a costume contest at 6 p.m. Hot dogs with a soda available for $1 while they last. If you are a non-profit and interested in a spot to give candies out, call Mike Sasin, at G & M Ace Hardware as he is the chairman and he will advise you where to set up.

Door-to-Door trick-or-treating hours for the town of Rockville are 5 to 8 p.m.
