Spring is just around the corner. Fresh Produce, Healthy Choices. What a great way to start planning a garden, or even a few produce plants in the backyard. Sign-ups for Garden Plots are March 26 at 5:30 p.m. The Community Garden will be having many opportunities to learn about gardening. Don’t miss the March 14 Community Garden lesson that will help you start some of your own produce plants now to plant when the temperatures get warmer.  Purdue Extension Educator – ANR, Kurt Lanzone will give you tips on how to save seeds to plant for the next season. Then April 11 Kurt will help give ideas and guidance for Early Spring Gardening.

The Community Garden Lessons are the perfect place to learn tips and techniques to help your garden plants grow. Come be a part of these exciting and fun filled lessons. These lessons will get you through the cold days and proper ways to select seedling plants that are the right choice for your healthy selection. May 9 Lawrence Williams from the Community Garden Rotary club will help you learn how to overcome the cold and select the best seedling for your family.
