Billie Creek Village was once a bustling place of tourism for Parke County that has sat idle for many years. Brought to life in the 1960s, it holds many fond memories for those that used to visit for a stroll through the past.
Now under new management, Chief Operating Officer Gregg Larson, has brought in a manager, Michelle Mundo, to spearhead the reintroduction to the community. Mundo gave the Parke County Sentinel a tour of the beautiful property and its many buildings, starting with the hub of it all, the General Store. Here vendors and local artisans can showcase their wares among the many bottles of delicious sodas as well as antique furniture that line the walls and floors of the building. Mundo shared that they are on the hunt for more folks to bring into the space at the Village all year and especially during Covered Bridge time. And are open to wholesale and commission dealings.
