Town of Rosedale Receives New Vehicles

The last Rosedale town board meeting of the year was held Tuesday, December 13. All members but President John McMullen were present. Vice- president Cody Mason conducted the meeting.

The meeting began with the pledge of allegiance and a public hearing for the town truck and police car. The USDA and the town of Rosedale are teaming up to secure financing for new vehicles. Up to 55% of the cost of the vehicles will be covered by grant and the remainder will be financed at 3.5%

The council then accepted the minutes from the last regular meeting and opened up the floor for public comment.

Mark Davis presented some unfortunate news. The bids accepted for the town park project came in roughly 50% higher than expected. The budgeted cost was established before inflation hit. Davies revised the plan so that the more stylistic elements would be dropped and saved for the scope of another project.
