Thanksgiving Closures

Most government offices, banks and retail stores will be closed Thursday, November 24 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Parke County Government offices will also be closed Friday, November 25, but banks and retailers will be open for “Black Friday.” There will be no mail delivery Thursday. As a result, Sentinel mail subscribers should expect their newspaper to be delivered one day later than normal that week.

The office of the Parke County Sentinel will be closed Thursday for Thanksgiving but will be open Friday, with a regular advertising deadline of 3 p.m. that day.

All Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle (BMV) branches will be closed Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Branches will resume regularly scheduled business hours Saturday, November 26.
