Parke County Council met in regular session Thursday, October 13. Present were John Pratt – president, Roy Wrightsman, Larry Gambaiani, Rick Patton, J.B. Butler and Cameron Martin.
To begin the meeting, Ryan Keller Executive Director of Thrive West Central presented a study commissioned through the Economic Development Administration. The two-year long study helped to identify needs within the West Central Region and how to best address them. His presentation covered everything from unemployment data to education and housing needs. This information will be utilized by the included counties it surveyed for years to come in an effort to provide initiatives to the residents.
