NEW LADDER TRUCK NOW IN SERVICE

The ladder truck received earlier this year for Rockville-Adams Township Fire Department was put into service Monday, August 1.

This aerial ladder truck was donated to the town of Rockville by the town of Crawfordsville in the spring of this year. New labeling, routine maintenance performed, and training of department members had to be completed before the truck could be used in its official capacity. The ladder truck is 20 years old but is in great working condition. The Rockville/Adams Township Fire Departments would have had to spend $1.2 to $1.5 million for a new truck like their donated one.
