Visiting Bridgeton Mill

Parke County has many unique and serene places where one could learn about the past and enjoy the beauty. The historic town of Bridgeton has one such special place, the Bridgeton Mill. The Bridgeton Mill is located next to the Bridgeton Covered Bridge and waterfall. According to mill owner, Mike Roe, “The Bridgeton Mill is one of the 20 reasons to love Indiana.” A statement he attributes to Governor Holcomb.

The Bridgeton Mill was established in 1823 and is one of the oldest continually operating mills west of the Allegheny Mountains and in the State of Indiana.
