Legal Notice – Advertisement for Bids, US 41 Sewer Project


Sealed proposals for the US 41 N. Sewer Improvements Project will be received by the Town Hall, Rockville, Indiana until 4:00 p.m., local time, on Monday August 1, 2022 and then will be publicly opened and read aloud at 5 pm Board Meeting. Any bids received later than the above time and date will be returned unopened. No conditional bids will be considered.


Description of Work: Installation of approximately 4,920 LF of 4” sanitary force main, 448 LF of 8” gravity sewer, manholes and (2) Lift Stations rated at 240 gpm and 340 gpm. All work to include all related site work, equipment, and appurtenances.


Contract Documents for the Project/Work have been assembled into one or more bound Project Manuals which, together with Drawings, may be examined at the office of American Structurepoint, Inc., 9025 River Road Suite 200, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240, and the Town of Rockville at 103 W. High Street, Rockville, Indiana.


Paper or Digital copies of drawings and project manual must be obtained thru from Eastern Engineering, 9901 Allisonville Rd, Fishers, IN 46038;. Phone 317-598-0661, upon the payment of the cost of reproduction or download for each set. All payments and costs of Contract Documents are non-refundable.


A pre-bid meeting will be held on July 19, 2022 at 11:00 am, local time, at 103 W. High Street, Town Hall, Rockville, Indiana. The pre-bid will familiarize prospective bidders with the proposed project and to answer any questions.


Bidders shall assure that they have obtained complete sets of Drawings and Contract Documents and shall assume the risk of any errors or omissions in Bids prepared in reliance on incomplete sets of drawings and Contract Documents.


Bidders will be required to provide Bid security according to the requirements in Instructions to Bidders.


Submit your Bid on the Bid Form provided in the Bid Documents. Bids shall include all information requested by Indiana Form 96 (Revised 2013) included with the Bid Documents. As required by Bid Form 96, Section III, the Bidder shall submit a financial statement. The Owner may make such investigations as deemed necessary to determine the ability of the Bidder to perform the work and the Bidder shall furnish to the Owner all such information and data for this purpose as the Owner may request. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such Bidder fails to satisfy the Owner that such Bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the Agreement and to complete the work when and as contemplated therein.


Each Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Project site(s) and for reading and being thoroughly familiar with the Bid Documents. The failure or omission of any Bidder to do any of the foregoing shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation with respect to its Bid.


Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 45 days after submission.
