Scholarship Winner

SCHOLARSHIP WINNER. Grant Thompson, (above right) a Parke Heritage High School junior, has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship as a part of the NAPA Boost Scholarship Program. Grant is a student in the Wabash River Career and Technical Education (WRCTE) Auto Technology program, which is housed at PHHS. Mr. Edward Kutch, who teaches the class, had his students complete the application last fall. Students had to state their case for the scholarship through either a two-page essay or a two-minute video. There were only five scholarships presented from all of the NAPA stores in Illinois, Missouri, Indiana and Kentucky. Congratulations to Grant on earning this scholarship. (photo submitted)
