Boys’ Basketball Action from Weekend Games

Area boys’ basketball teams were busy with action this past weekend.

The Parke Heritage Wolves traveled to Veedersburg to face the Fountain Central Mustangs in conference action Friday, February 11. The Wolves won the contest 32-31. Senior Noble Johnson led scoring for the Wolves with 12 points. Anthony Wood and Christian Johnson each chipped in eight points and Joel Gooch added four points.

In Saturday, February 12, action the Wolves traveled for a non-conference game against the Crawfordsville Athenians. A three-point buzzer beater by Anthony Wood gave the Wolves a 37-36 victory. Junior Christian Johnson led scoring with 16 points, Renn Harper contributed sight points, Noble Johnson chipped in six points while Anthony Wood scoring a total of five and Joel Gooch adding two points.
