Closed for Labor Day

Most government offices, the Post Office and banks will be closed Monday, September 6 for the Labor Day holiday. The offices of the Parke County Sentinel will also be closed Monday. As a result, our deadline for all paid items including display and classified ads and legal notices will be 3 p.m. Thursday, September 2.

All Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle (BMV) branches will be closed Saturday, September 4 through Monday, September 6 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

Branches resume regularly scheduled business hours on Tuesday, September 7.
