Big Read Kicks Off For March

The Parke County Public Library has officially kicked off the “Big Read” program for the month of March. This program is made possible thanks to a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest. Vigo County Public Library applies for the grant and if awarded, shares their copies with PCPL in order to share the experience with the Wabash Valley.

The program offerings will include a free copy of the book (while supplies last) to read and accompanying events that touch on themes found throughout the novel.

This year’s pick is “Station Eleven” by Emily St. John Mandel.

If you have any questions about how about March’s Big Read, you can call the Library at (765) 569-5544.
