SWP Superintendent Reports On Students E-Learning Progress

The Southwest Parke School Board met November 18 with all members participating as four were present and member Gary Kouns II was on the phone. This was the second monthly meeting held in the smaller space of the administration building meeting room, and everyone in attendance was wearing a mask.
The primary business was hearing the report by Superintendent Dr. Phil Harrison, in which he said the schools are all on e-learning the current week and the following short week of Thanksgiving. He said he hopes students will be back in class Monday, November 30, but that could not be assured. Everyone agreed COVID-19 infection rates are rising rapidly in the area.
