Public Notice – Parke County, Redevelopment Commission, Conditional Sale
CONDITIONAL SALE OF REAL ESTATE BY
PARKE COUNTY REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given that the Parke County Redevelopment Commission will receive bids for the conditional purchase and sale of certain parcels real estate located in Parke County, Indiana. The Auditor of Parke County issued Tax Sale Certificates for the subject parcels of real estate to the Parke County Commissioners after the parcels failed to receive the minimum bid required by law at tax sale. The Parke County Commissioners subsequently transferred and assigned said Tax Sale Certificates to the Parke County Redevelopment Commission. It is the intent of the Parke County Redevelopment Commission to seek Tax Deeds for the subject real estate in accordance with applicable law and subject to rights of redemption. The sale of the subject parcels is conditioned upon the Parke County Redevelopment Commission obtaining Tax Deeds for the subject real estate. Upon the issuance of Tax Deeds for the subject real estate, the Parke County Redevelopment Commission shall convey its rights, title, and interest in the subject real estate to the successful bidder by Quitclaim Deed. The Parke County Redevelopment Commission makes no warranties or representations with respect to the subject real estate or title to the same.
The Parke County Redevelopment Commission may establish a minimum bid for any particular parcel and reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any particular parcel of real estate.
An Offering Sheet that more fully discloses and describes the subject parcels of real estate will be available for inspection and copying by prospective purchasers at the Parke County Redevelopment Commission office located at 110 E. High St., Rockville, IN 47872, beginning December 7, 2020.
The Parke County Redevelopment Commission will open and consider offers to purchase the property at a meeting to be held on January 26, 2021 at 6 p.m. at the Parke County Redevelopment Commission office located at 110 E. High St., Rockville, IN 47872. Offers to purchase may be delivered, in writing, to the Parke County Redevelopment Commission at any time prior to the meeting.
