The Montezuma Town Council voted to prohibit door-to-door trick-or-treating this Halloween, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  In an effort to make safety a top priority, in place of trick-or-treating, the Montezuma Park Board will be sponsoring a Halloween Parade, where children who live in the town of Montezuma can line up, socially distanced, to receive candy thrown by those participating in the parade. The parade is still in the planning phases, and final details will be released later. The group will also advertise locally.

The Council voted to officially hire John Koch to fill the vacant Town Marshal position, left open when Greg Goodrick resigned from the position prior to the August Council meeting.
