Rockville Town Council met in regular session Monday, June 8 at 6 p.m.
Steve Brock of Thurber Brock & Associates LLC, a group of municipal financial advisors, attended the meeting to give the town a water rate study that they had contracted Brock’s company to complete. Brock’s data indicated that the Town of Rockville needs to consider a water and wastewater rate increase to bring in enough revenue to protect Town assets and allow the town to perform necessary maintenance. Council will review the data recommended rate increases to discuss them at a later meeting.
