As fitting for the approach of the holidays, the Marshall Town Council had a light agenda for their regular meeting Tuesday, December 3. Attending were Council members Larry Harmon and Darla Burgess, along with Clerk-Treasurer Kathy Wirth, Licensed Water Operator Tom Knapke, Town Marshal Jeff Ramey and Town Attorney Nick Sauter.
In the water department Secretary Wirth reported that water usage rates were back to normal, following the repair to a major leak reported as fixed at the last meeting. A small leak remains in the south end, which is being monitored to determine if the problem is a hydrant. A leak downtown was repaired by contractor Ronnie Black as a part of his prior service.
