Heather Thompson Chosen as new Chamber Director

Parke County Chamber of Commerce has hired a new Executive Director, Heather Thompson. Heather is a native to Parke County that brings a lot of passion and enthusiasm for our community.

For the last 13 years, she has been the Daycare Director at the Rockville Christian Church. In that role, she has organized many events, including the Talks Mentoring 5K, worked with a Church Board and oversaw the daycare budget, and built relationships with the many families that have attended the daycare. Before that position, she attended Cosmetology school and oversaw six salons with Cost Cutters Family Hair Care. We are thrilled to have Heather come on board with the Chamber as the new Executive Director as she brings a lot of business knowledge and a servant’s heart for leadership in our community.

The Chamber has revamped its website and has a new logo. Thanks to Courtney Prather, the Chamber was able to modernize its logo and create a website that is more user-friendly for Chamber members as well as provide more resources for the business community and the community as a whole. Please check out the new website at www.parkecountychamber.com.
