There is still time to Enroll

There is still time to enroll in Ivy Tech Community College summer classes that begin June 10. Some courses are offered in Rockville at the Parke County Learning Center, located at 519 N. Lincoln Road. Students can stop in for help enrolling during office hours.

General education classes offered in Parke County are English Composition, Public Speaking, Earth Science, Quantitative Reasoning, Introduction To Psychology, Integrated Reading & Writing, and a seminar class for first-year students. These courses are pre-requisites or degree requirements for Ivy Tech associate degrees.

Most classes offered in Parke County also transfer to all public four-year colleges in Indiana, as part of Indiana’s Statewide Transfer General Education Core.

Many courses are also available online.

Parke County Learning Center office hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The office will be closed June 10, 14, 21, and July 19. New students should apply online at ivytech.edu/applynow or stop into the Parke County Learning Center. Contact the Center at 812-298-2480 or email kgrayless2@ivytech.edu.
