Artists, Parke Heritage High School students and volunteers are part of an initiative called “Operation Facelift” in which canvas murals are being painted in order to be hung around the town square to cover empty store windows during MainStreet Rockville’s “Third Friday” events.
The first of several murals has been completed. The art work was done by the Parke Heritage High School students of art teacher Leitha Stone. This mural will be hung for the first event this Friday, May 17. This is another project of MainStreet Rockville.
