Howard Avenue Work Update

Recent progress made on the Howard Avenue construction project includes the completion of all storm sewers west of Beadle; placement of temporary 53 stone and re-opening of the road to local traffic on Howard Avenue from U.S. 41 to Beadle; and the re-laying of the sanitary lateral to the Gooch property.
Anticipated upcoming construction activities include the connection of the streets to the existing storm system.
Local access ONLY between Beadle and U.S. 41 and ONLY from Howard to College and to Walton has been restored; restricted access remains from Beadle to Michigan for storm sewer installation.
Above-ground projects should begin around Memorial Day, including sidewalks, streetlights, paving, etc.
The intermediate completion date is set for October 4, 2019. The work for the project is currently at 43% completion.
