AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COUNTY RIGHT OF WAY USE PERMIT FEE REQUIREMENT
WHEREAS, it is required that any utility companies wishing to utilize the county right of way in Parke County, Indiana must first obtain a use permit, and
WHEREAS, the Parke County Commissioners previously adopted an Ordinance requiring the payment of a right of way use permit fee of ($25) twenty-five dollars, and;
WHEREAS, the County Commissioners have determined that said previous Ordinance should be amended as to broadband utility providers;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Commissioners of Parke County, Indiana that:
- The ($25) twenty-five dollar right of way use permit fee shall be suspended and no longer required as to broadband utility providers and;
- That all broadband utility providers must still receive a use permit before utilizing the county right of way for utility purposes and;
- That in all other respects the county right of way use permit requirement remains in full force except as specifically amended herein.
Unanimous consent of Parke County Commissioners who were present on the 4th day of March 2019 to consider the ordinance on the same date as introduced.
