SWCD HONORS STUDENTS

SWCD HONORS STUDENTS. North Central Parke students were honored at the Parke County Soil and Water Conservation District Annual Meeting. FFA members were recognized for their assistance with the fourth grade Ag Day at the Fairgrounds and fifth grade Conservation Day at Rockville Lake. They were presented a certificate for their help in teaching about conservation. Poster contest winners from each school were honored. The theme was “Life in the Soil: Dig Deeper.”  Monetary prizes and ribbons are awarded to posters chosen. Haley Holtsclaw from Rockville Elementary earned first place; Justice Stark earned second place.
