The Parke County Planning Commission will review and act upon the following petition at their regularly scheduled meeting on February 28, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Parke County Extension Office, 1472 N. US 41, Rockville, IN 47872. A copy of this petition will be kept in the Planning and Zoning Office for public inspection, Room 105, 116 W. High St., Rockville, IN. 47872. The Hearing may be continued as found to be necessary. PETITION TO AMEND PARKE COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE TO REZONE AND VACATE PART OF A PLAT
TO: The Parke County Plan Commission
Comes now the Petitioner(s) D. Perry Mager and Greg Mager, by Josh Mager, and Hereby files a Petition to rezone and vacate part of a plat, Parke County, Indiana, with the Parke County Planning Commission, and in support thereof, alleges and says:
- That the petitioner(s) D. Perry Mager and Greg Mager, are the owners in fee simple of: thirty-five (35) lots more commonly known as:
Lot numbers 1-11, Block 16, BBC Co. Town of Diamond
Lot numbers 1, and 3-8, Block 11, BBC Co. Town of Diamond
Lot number 17-28, Block 11, BBC Co. Town of Diamond
Lot number 7, Block 9, BBC Co. Town of Diamond
Lot numbers 6-9, Block 4, BBC Co. Town of Diamond
- That the petitioner(s) herein desire to vacate the above described lots in said plat so they may better utilize the use and possession of their real estate by turning these lots in to acreage containing approximately 5.60 acres more or less for taxation purposes.
- That the petitioner(s) herein desire to rezone the above described lots in said Plat from the current zoning of RP-residential permanent to AP-agriculture Productive.
- That the vacating and rezoning of the above described lots will not hinder the Growth or orderly development of Parke County or the citizens thereof.
WHEREFORE, the petitioner(s) herein respectfully requests the Parke County Plan Commission to vacate the portion(s) of the Plat herein above described and to approve a rezoning from RP-residential permanent to AP-agriculture productive.
