NOTICE OF FILING OF PETITION FOR TAX DEED AND POSSESSION

TO: Matejas Soltis, a/k/a Matigas Soltis and Mary Soltis, Deceased and their unknown heirs-at-law

You have been sued by the person(s) named “petitioner” in the court stated above.

The nature of the suit against you is stated in the petition which is attached to this notice of filing of petition for tax deed and possession.  It also states the demand which the petitioner has made against you.

If you object to the petition, you must file a written objection to the petition with the court not later than thirty (30) days after the date the petition was filed.  If a written objection is timely filed, the court shall conduct a hearing on the objection.  If you fail to timely file a written objection, then not later than sixty-one (61) days after the petition was filed the court shall enter an order directing the county auditor (on the production of the certificate of sale and a copy of the order) to issue to the petitioner a tax deed.
