Notice to Accept Proposals: NCP School Corporation

NOTICE TO ACCEPT PROPOSALS FOR SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORATION FOR NORTH CENTRAL PARKE COMMUNITY SCHOOL COPORATION

The Board of School Trustees of the North Central Parke Community School Corporations invites Fleet and Transportation bus drivers to submit a proposal to extend their current transportation route bid for a term of two (2) years (2019-2020 and 2020-2021) for North Central Parke Community School bus routes. Each transportation bus contractor and fleet contractor must submit their proposal no later than 1:00 p.m. on December 5, 2018 to the office of the superintendent. The superintendent will schedule a meeting with each contractor to negotiate any changes in the proposal between December 5 and December 12, 2018.

The Board of School Trustees will not announce the award of new contracts until all negotiations have been completed. The Board also reserves the right to negotiate any proposal with any bidder without further advertisement. Contract awards will be approved by the Board at the December 20, 2018 regular board meeting if the negotiations are complete and contractors are determined for all routes.

Specifications of all routes and directions for the submission of proposals are on file and available in the office of the Superintendent of Schools. Contractors are invited to secure copies of these specifications and at said office. All bids must comply with these specifications and with transportation laws under Indiana Code 20-27-5.

The Board of School Trustees reserves the right to reject any one or all proposals and also reserves the right to negotiate with bidders or other interested parties without further advertisement. Final award of contracts will be based upon the most responsive and most responsible proposal or by negotiating an agreement between the Board of School Trustees and a responsible bidder.
