Sectional Champs

SECTIONAL CHAMPS. The Parke Heritage tennis team won the sectional championship at Crawfordsville Thursday, September 27. In the first round, the Wolves defeated Crawfordsville 5-0. In the championship match, the team claimed the sectional title with a 3-2 win over North Montgomery.  They will play in the regional round at Crawfordsville Tuesday, October 2 against the winner of the Northview sectional. Team members are (from left) RJ Nelson, Joel Gooch, Riley Ferguson, Evan James, Jack Gooch, Dylan Whitmer, Clay Butler, Jorden Wood, coach Michael Slater, manager Olivia Branam and assistant coach Steve Bauer. (photo submitted)
