Lady Panthers Win WRC Match

Riverton Parke won its first Wabash River Conference match of the season beating Attica at home last Tuesday night. Riverton Parke won in three sets 25-10, 25-9, and 25-7.

Freshman Taylor Howard led the Riverton Parke scoring with 17 service points; Mackenzie Schermann had 12 service points and eight aces; Katrina Cruser had 11 kills and four points; Amber Cruser had five points, two aces and two kills; Camryn Clapp had seven points, four aces, 10 assists and five kills; Britany App had five points; Robin Mathas two points; and Jaicey Burdine had four kills.

Riverton Parke also won the junior varsity match 2-0.

The Riverton Parke volleyball team won on the road Thursday night beating Clay City 3-0.  Riverton Parke won the first set 25-21, the second set 27-25, and the third set 25-21.

Clapp had 11 points, 26 assists and three kills; Katrina Cruser had a team high 14 kills, eight digs and six points; Amber Cruser had eight points, three aces, six kills and five digs; Schermann had six points, seven kills and seven digs; App had five points; Howard had four points and 10 digs; Burdine and Lindsey Sowers each had three kills and a block.

Clay City beat Riverton Parke in the junior varsity match 2-1.

The Riverton Parke volleyball team kicked off a busy week with a victory at Dugger Union Monday night. Riverton Parke won in three sets 25-14, 25-17 and 25-14.

Howard led the Riverton Parke in scoring with 15 service points, three aces and five digs; Katrina Cruser had 15 kills, six points, three aces and four digs; Schermann had eight points, six kills and six digs; Clapp had 25 assists, five points and three aces; Amber Cruser had seven digs, five points and four kills; and App had seven points.

Riverton Parke also won the junior varsity match 2-0.

Riverton Parke (6-3) was scheduled to play at Cloverdale last night (Tuesday, September 11).
