Courthouse Scaffolding

WHAT GOES UP, MUST COME DOWN. After what seemed like an eternity of being “wrapped” in scaffolding, the Parke County Courthouse is finally being freed
from its “cage.” The second project to address leaking roof and clock tower issues has been completed and workers from Scaffold King have begun the process
of disassembling the massive grid of walk planks and stairs surrounding the seat of county government the past couple of years. The construction equipment and
barricades will disappear just in time for the appearance of the shacks and tents in preparation for the 62nd Annual Covered Bridge Festival. (Sentinel photo by
