Parke Heritage Welcomes New School Year, Opportunities

Though many around Parke County understand Rockville and Turkey Run’s consolidation to form the new Parke Heritage school system, many still have questions:

Are there more opportunities for a consolidated district? How are the respective communities reacting? Are they going to keep old traditions alive?

Responding to these questions and more Monday afternoon was Parke Heritage High School (PHHS) Principal Dwight Ashley, a long-time educator and advocate of history, opportunity and the betterment of today’s youth.
