Old Glory Quilters Honor 24 Veterans With Quilts Of Honor At Montezuma Fourth Of July Celebration

     An event such as the Independence Celebration held in Montezuma does not happen by one group its takes a community that pulls together to make the event one to remember. If you were fortunate enough to have been there Tuesday, evening July 3 and Wednesday morning, July 4 you would have witnessed all the volunteers that made this day possible.
The Veterans Memorial was surrounded with flags honoring veterans throughout the ages as approximately 200 people gathered around the memorial for the sixth time to celebrate our nation’s independence and honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for all of us.
