Jacob Cummings to take over Falcons

North Vermillion has hired Jacob Cummings as its next head boys’ basketball coach. Cummings comes in to replace John Berning (23-33), the Falcons’ head coach for the previous two seasons, who took the position at Brown County High School.

Cummings comes from North Central in Farmersburg, where he has extensive coaching experience in multiple sports. He was on staff in 2010 when NC won the program’s lone Regional title, something the Falcons have looked for the last three years.
